Chuckwagon Dinner and Cowboys Singing

Good vitals and knee slapping fun at the Bar D Ranch Cookout and Cowboy Music Show!! The food was good, but the singing and fiddle playing was the best!!

Winter Paradise Found..

Sully's sledding debut video that you will watch over and over again!

The big day, off to find snow for sledding and snow we found and sledding was a big hit. Bella started it off and Sully followed realizing "this is radical!" It always looks like there is a lot of snow until you try to find some in late May for sledding! but at 11,000 ft we finally found some, a little brown, but still slippery!! We also went rock hunting and old mining town exploring, lots of fun!!

Day One - A New River Rat is Born!

We arrived in Durango late Tuesday after a 17 hour journey from St John. I will say Bella and Sully are travel troopers!! Thinking we would sleep in and take our first day a little easy, forgetting that we were still on island time,we woke up early and got started on our day. Auntie Ashleigh was very excited to have us in town and made plans for a morning white water rafting adventure. Bella and I decided to be the photographers and boat chasers. Luckily today's weather was warm and sunny, a perfect blue bird day for the kids to get used to a different climate. Auntie Ashleigh has all the connections and Sully was completely outfitted for the cold water adventure down the Animas River. Needless to say, he loved the experience!! Uncle Ryan would be proud of Sully's enthusiasm running the Smelter rapid!! He has decided that he wants to do this activity again for sure!! Thanks Auntie Ashleigh for introducing me to this new water sport!!
Tomorrow we ride the famous vintage railway from Durango to Silverton Durango!
Stay turned!
